Refrigeration Technician (Lodi, CA)
Hourly Rate: $40.00-$60.00
Description

The Commercial/Industrial Refrigeration Technician will perform a variety of standard to complex technical tasks related to maintaining, servicing, repairing, and installing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

Quality workmanship and customer service are of the utmost importance.

The Commercial/Industrial Refrigeration Technician will be familiar with and comply with all safety requirements.
-
Read and understand manufacturing documents including assembly drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
-
Safely perform installation of refrigeration equipment.
-
Diagnose problems and make repairs to existing equipment.
-
Apply troubleshooting methods, replace parts, and run tests to ensure systems are working properly following repairs.
-
Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems.
-
Follow the checklists of components and specific operations that need to be assessed during a routine inspection of existing equipment.
-
Ensure shop and/or client work area is always maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Position Requirements
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Commercial Refrigeration and Commercial HVAC experience required – minimum four years.
-
Industrial Refrigeration experience is a plus.
-
Ammonia/Freon experience required – minimum four years.
-
Knowledge of related computer programs preferred- CPC, Danfoss Control, Metasys.
-
Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drive Operation, troubleshooting, and programming preferred.
-
Must possess a valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record.
-
Universal EPA card required.
-
Contingent on successful drug test and background.
-
Must be able to work on-call (weekly rotating schedules).

Mechanical Design Engineer (Lodi, CA)
Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $52.00
Schrader Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a talented experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating with the design and development of innovative mechanical systems, products, and components.
Description

Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, products, and components.
-
Create and maintain design documentation including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, automation, and refrigeration.
-
Perform feasibility studies and design reviews to ensure the systems meet performance, cost, and quality requirements.
-
Control projects from concept through to production launch, including project scheduling and budgeting.
-
Identify and implement design improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
-
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design practices and outcomes.
Position Requirements
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (not required, but a plus).
-
At least 10 years of experience in mechanical design and development of complex assemblies including machined, lasered, formed, welded, electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
-
Expert/Proficient in the use of CAD. 5-Years minimum in the use of SolidWorks and AutoCAD required.
-
Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly.
-
Knowledge of system safety measures required for mechanical equipment and the ability to implement them into the design of custom equipment.
-
5 plus years of hands-on experience with equipment assembly, repair, or any fabrication methods is a plus.
-
Proficient in sheet metal design and manufacturability.
-
Proficient in machined component design, tolerancing and manufacturability.
-
Proficient is shop print generation, including knowledge of welding requirements and weld symbols.
-
Knowledge of various plastics and metals and knowledge of when/where to use them.
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
-
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
-
Experience leading projects and managing budgets.
Key responsibilities

Collaborate with the mechanical design team to ensure that all projects are completed on-time and within budget.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers.

Design and develop new products, incorporating customer feedback and industry trends.
-
Create and maintain project timelines and budgets.
-
Perform design analyses and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability.
-
Create and maintain product specifications, drawings, and documentation.
